PUBLIC PRESENTATION AND DEFENCE OF BASELINE SURVEY PROPOSAL HELD ON 17TH AND 18TH NOVEMBER, 2022

In her remark the Director welcomed all present and gave a brief about the T_CEIPEC as she informed the occasion about previous outings and activities the Centre had been engaged in such as the Digital and Literacy Training held in collaboration with Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (P-SUBEB) and the British Council.

She concluded her remark by informing everyone about the purpose of the Baseline survey and its importance to T_CEIPEC

ADDRESS BY THE PROVOST F C E PANKSHIN

The Provost of the College Dr. Amos Bulus Cirfat who was the Chairman of the occasion congratulated the Centre Management and the members of the Technical advisory Committee for progress and achievements made at the centre so far. He expressed satisfaction with the research drive and impact the centre is achieving within the College.

The Provost encouraged staff of the College to key into research and other activities at the centre which will be holding subsequently.  

PRESENTATION AND REMARKS FROM RESPONDENTS AND ATTENDEES

The Programme of event had 25 scheduled baseline survey proposal submissions which were presented and responded to by the Centre researchers and attendees at the public presentation. The presentation started with the baseline research proposal titled Analysis of deficiencies in curriculum implementation and monitoring for primary education in Nigeria which was on behalf of the research team, presented by Mr. Daniel Bingel. The first presentation was followed by the proposal titled Assessment of Environmental Quality of Public Early Childhood Care, Development and Education Centres: A Plateau State Context which was presented by Mr. Nathanael Tanko Noah. Dr. Mrs Zipporah Duguryil gave the response to the first proposal while the second was responded to by Dr. Sunday Jacob. The 25 baseline proposals presented during the public presentation were;
